Being pro-life isn't easy- in fact, it can be really hard sometimes. Abortion is a heavy subject and it's hard to fight alone. That's why we've compiled this list of resources, so no matter what you're looking for, you'll find what you need.

The Pittsburgh chapter offers many services, including several for the pregnant and parenting. Click here to see their many free services for women and mothers.

Genesis Centers are community outreach centers located in Washington and Allegheny County that provide programs and services to women in need. They offer free pregnancy testing, maternity and infant clothing, distribution of baby equipment and essentials including diapers and formula.”

​

Genesis includes the “Genesis House” which is home for pregnant women in Pittsburgh. “The residence and future-planning center is for women who are pregnant over the age of 18 and in need of shelter. Genesis House is the only residence of its kind in southwestern Pennsylvania. The house can accommodate up to 8 women at a time. The goal of the program is to provide a self-help, home-like environment aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility and independence.” Click here for more info.

The MAYA Organization focuses on the mental health of pregnant women through individualized and personal care. “Professional counseling services include EMDR and Trauma Informed Care. Pregnancy, parenting, & adoption support, including free pregnancy testing & free classes, & baby items for pregnant women & their partners.” Click here for more info.

Birthright is a pregnancy resource center located in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of North Oakland, just off Pitt's campus. They provide several free services for women, primarily in the form of guidance and practical resource help. They also provide material assistance for the woman and child, depending on their needs. Angel’s Place is an organization that provides early childhood education, child care, and family support programs. “Angels’ Place helps determined parents secure a brighter, more stable future by providing quality early childhood education, child care and family support at no cost or at significantly reduced rates to families in need.” Click here for more info.
